On this Third Sunday of Easter, we gather as people who, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, are still learning to recognize the risen Lord walking with us in our daily lives. In moments of doubt, confusion, and even quiet hope, Christ draws near, opens our hearts through His word, and makes Himself known in the breaking of the bread. As we celebrate this Eucharist, let us ask for the grace to see His presence more clearly, to listen more deeply, and to allow our hearts to be set on fire with renewed faith and joy.As we listen on God’s word today, we are gently led on a journey—from hearing the joyful witness of those transformed by the resurrection, to placing our trust in God who never abandons us, and to living with a deeper awareness of the price of our redemption. Along the way, we are reminded that even in our doubts and struggles, the risen Christ walks beside us, patiently opening our minds and hearts, until we come to recognize Him and are renewed with faith and hope.**Opening Prayer (Priest):**Dear brothers and sisters, as we journey with the risen Lord who walks beside us and reveals Himself in our lives, let us bring our prayers to God the Father with faith and trust.**Response:**Lord, hear our prayer.**Prayers of the Faithful:**1.
